Ards Peninsula Kite Festival 2019
All Kite Flyers welcome!

Ballywalter Beach on 26th August 2019 from 12noon to 4pm

Come along to the Ards Peninsula Kite Festival for a family fun filled day.
See the colourful display kites filling the sky.

And for just £4 you can create and design your own kite with Go Fly Your Kite, and have a go at flying your own kite.

Food stalls and family entertainment on the day includes: music, bouncy castles and sand art, plan to spend the afternoon in this glorious setting.

The Kite Festival takes place at “Long Sands” which is the sandy beach to the south side of Ballywalter that has been awarded 2019 Seaside Award for its facilities and water quality.

Bathers and walkers can make use of this expansive stretch of sandy beach along with its rock pools, ready for children to explore.

A small playground is located nearby, also grass areas behind the beach along with public toilets.
